Sharad Yadav's copter makes emergency landing
Patna, Aug 5: A helicopter carrying Janata Dal (U) President Sharad Yadav and three other passengers made an emergency landing at Jakkanpur.
The helicopter took off from Patna airport on Thursday, Aug 4 morning and after five minutes it made an emergency landing in a field due to technical problems.
The other passengers include Bihar minister Prem Kumar, Secretary to Chief Minister S Siddharth and Road Department Secretary Prataya Amrit.
All passengers on the board and the two plots were safe.
"The chopper took off from the airport for Chausa in Madhepura to attend an official function and barely after five minutes, the pilot reported the technical problem to the Air Traffic Control and landed the helicopter," said Captain Deepak Kumar Singh, Civil Aviation Department Additional Chief Pilot-cum-Joint Director.
