Maruti rolls out new Alto with K-series engine
New Delhi, Aug 5: Maruti Suzuki continues to roll out new models powered with its all new K-series engines, the latest being Alto-K10, a variant of its best selling model Alto.
The country's largest car maker on Wednesday, Aug 4 unveiled Alto-K10 at an introductory price between Rs 3.03 lakh and Rs 3.16 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
With record sales of 20,000 units per month, Alto is the the largest selling car in India.
With the new version, company expects to attract newer costumers.
Alto has earned a reputation of being the most fuel-efficient car. Carrying forward this reputation, the company claims that Alto K-10 will provide a mileage of 20.2 km per litre.
"The Alto's package of performance, fuel efficiency and attractive cost of ownership have together made it India's most popular car. The Alto-K10 will take this forward," Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) Managing Director and CEO Shinzo Nakanishi said.
