Over-the-counter drugs could be fatal: US mag
New York, August 3 (ANI): Over-the-counter supplements could harm your health instead of helping it, says American mag Consumer Reports investigation.
Taking bitter orange or country mallow to help fight the bulge can have fatal results.
The magazine also pointed out aphrodisiacs could kill, if taken in high doses.
Other legal, non-prescription remedies that can sicken or kill are aconite, chaparral, colloidal silver, coltsfoot, comfrey, germanium, greater celandine, kava and lobelia.
"Just because it's natural doesn't mean it's safe," The New York Daily News quoted supplement user Trieva Jordan, 33, as saying. (ANI)
