AP: Father, brothers kill woman for 'honour'

Hyderabad, Aug 3: To guard the 'honour' of the family, a father and two brothers killed a woman for allegedly having an extramarital affairs.

The victim, identified as Bhagya Lakshmi, was reportedly killed in her maternal house in SR Nagar on Monday, Aug 2 afternoon.

According to media reports, one of the victim's brothers walked into the SR Nagar police station and confessed to his crime. He later led the police to the crime scene from where the two other 'honour killers' were nabbed.

Lakshmi, who was married to a man in 1998, started living in Sanathnagar along with her two daughters after separating from her husband due to family disputes.

As rumours of Lakmi having an affair with a owner of a hair cutting saloon spread, the father of the woman, identified as Satyanarayana and her two brothers Vijay Kumar and Raju stepped in to protect the reputation of their family by killing the mother of two.
