Patna, Aug 2 (ANI): Protesting against the administration and the state government, college students blocked a train on the Rajender Nagar Terminal in Patna on Monday.

The administration staff of the Universities all over the state is on strike for the last 32 days. They are demanding a hike in salary.

According to the students, their studies are suffering due to a month-long strike by the administration staff and the government is not intervening.

Around 300-400 students belonging to the various students' wings of political parties gathered for the protests and shouted slogans against the state government.

"In various campuses in Bihar, educational work has totally stopped and enrollment is also not taking place. Bihar's Nitish Government, which is busy making new announcements and promises daily, is playing with the future of lakhs of students. The government is not speaking a word and not intervening in the matter. Therefore, we definitely believe that the Nitish Government is betraying lakhs of students of Bihar," said Rahul Vikas, a student from All India Student Association.

Students lamented that the strike is not only affecting their studies but admissions are also not taking place, which happens during this period. (ANI)
