Washington, Aug 2: Pakisani Ambassador to US Husain Haqqani had claimed that Pakistani policy of supporting some terrorist groups has changed.

"Pakistani policy changed very clearly, even after 9/11. It started changing. I think the changes are in much faster gear now," claimed Haqqani to CNN-IBN.

He also added that Islamabad had asked India to send its officials to testify before Pakistani courts to help convict those responsible for the Mumbai 26/11 attacks.

"And we have requested our Indian neighbours to provide us with evidence in the sense of allowing Indian officials who have knowledge of this matter, to travel to Pakistan and give evidence in our court," stated Haqqani.

According to CNN-IBN, he also included, "and we will be able to complete the prosecution process and convict these people."

Haqqani had acknowledged that Pakistan's past activitists over terrorism, had given the world scope to be cynical about democracy and its relation with India and US.

He also claimed that WikiLeaks revelations about "Pakistan's double game" of ISI working directly with the Afghan Taliban, had not revealed anything new data, which the world has not heard before.

"I can say with a great degree of comfort now that the Pakistani intelligence services are working effectively to contain all terrorists, including Taliban from Afghanistan and from Pakistan," claimed Pakistani Diplomat.
