28 legislators joined in support of Jaganmohan Reddy at the meeting at Kakinada on Thursday, Jul 29. During the closing of Odarpu Yatra Jaganmohan was accompanied by state minister for social welfare P Subhash Chandrabose, 28 members of state assembly and four members of legislative council belonging to the Congress party.
Jaganmohan Reddy, Kadapa MP, had launched the Odarpu Yatra aimed at consoling the families of the people, who committed suicide after the former CM's untimely death in a chopper crash in 2009.
