SC to hear Talwar's application on Aug 9
New Delhi, Jul 29: The Supreme Court will hear the application submitted by Rajesh Talwar on Aug 9, seeking to restraint media from irresponsible reporting of the Aarushi's case.
Justices Altamas Kabir and A K Patnaik too avoided the media in passing any fresh restrain order relating to the case.
Senior counsel Pinaki Mishra and Dr Surat Singh had sought a fresh interim direction from the apex court to restrain irresponsible reporting on the issue.
The counsel submitted that though on July 22, 2008, the apex court has restrained the media from any irresponsible reporting, but still there has been reports which damages the reputation of the parents.
Aarushi's parents had approached the apex court on Jul 21 seeking to restrain media from irresponsible reporting of the case.
Aarushi, daughter of the dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, was found dead with her throat slit in her parents' home at Jalvayu Vihar in Noida on May 16, 2008. Her domestic help Hemraj was also found murdered in the same house the next day.
