By Samyuktha

Paris, Jul 20: India devastated home team 6-0 in the second hockey Test here to take a decisive 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Sandeep Singh put up a brilliant show and was a huge boost to the Indian team against the French. The ace drag-flicker converted three penalty corners in the 12th, 37th and 47th minutes.

The other goals for India was scored by captain Rajpal Singh in 39th minute, Mohd Amir Khan in 55th minute and Hari Prasad in 58th minute.

India dazzled the second Test with good ball control and possession. While the first half just saw one goal from the visitors, the team came back for the second half with the right energy to pocket five goals.

The performance of the Indians in the second Test was far more superior than the first Test which ended with 4-3 victory for the Asians.

The team will next be playing an inconsequential Test against France on Wednesday, Jul 21, after which they would be leaving to Holland for the last leg of their European tour.
