Bhardwaj interferes beyond the limits: BJP
Chennai, Jul 19: BJP accused Karnataka Governor HR Bhardwaj about his 'excessive interference' in the administrative matters of Karnataka. BJP on Monday, Jul 19 also alleged him responsible for the 'aggravated' political situations of the state.
BJP spokesperson Nirmala Seetharam told media that the Governor, who exceeds the limit is 'the problem'. She also said that Bhardwaj had even discussed with President Pratibha Patil about the political situations in the state recently and he had 'aggravated' the issue.
Nirmala Seetharam informed that Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has assured of action into the illegal mining controversy and Lok Ayukta is looking into it. However she refrained from commenting on the role of Reddy brothers in the issue.
Nirmala also denied whether the issue had resulted in any 'crisis' in the party in Karnataka. “There may be problems which are common to all. But there is no crisis," she said.
