According to the sources many colleges had failed to get confirmation as they were not able to come with the standards and the quality which the AICTE needed.
“When the time came to fulfil the conditions as per AICTE requirements, these colleges were found to be way below the required standards and hence did not get confirmation," said a member of the admission committee.
Apart from building and other infrastructural facilities, these private college had also failed to get good teachers also.
Due to increase in number of seats across the state, this time many candidates seeking admission to engineering colleges will face problem in getting admission.
However, government has announced that more number of seats will be allotted in various government engineering colleges.
