Siddaramaiah, the Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly addressed Yeddyurappa as a 'goonda CM' and walked out of the House. He also alleged that the CM was being 'anti-democratic and fascist'.
"When I stood up to make a statement, the chief minister instigated his party MLAs to disrupt me. He is not interested in any discussion. This is fascism. Those who don't believe in democracy behave like this," he said. The Congress leader added that Yeddyurappa was conspiring with the mining mafia and also not allowed the Opposition to speak over the matter.
Speaker KG Bopaiah had to adjourn the Assembly to meet on Thursday, Jul 15 as the pandemonium broke out and added the chaos to the issue of illegal mining.
