A gang bombed three cars of the international students in Adelaide on Tuesday, Jul 13.
Yasif Multani, who live in a block of 13 South Australian Student Housing Association units in Greenacres and also the owner of the two cars that were destroyed, said a group of 15 local teenagers were believed to be responsible for the attack.
He said in the past three months more than 12 cars had been damaged.
Their mail gets stolen from letterboxes, racist graffiti are painted and garbage bins are being emptied on the streets, he added.
"People are scared. At night (the offenders) are banging on the doors and running away, and fires have been lit close to some units", said Multani.
Superintendent Barry Lewis, officer in charge of the Holden Hill Local Service Area said that this is a matter of great concern and already three of the suspected youths had been taken into custody.
"The fact that there are people with overseas names listed as owners of those cars does not mean that it was racially motivated," said Lewis.
