Pranab expects decency in leader's comments
New Delhi, Jul 12: Pranab Mukherjee, Union Finance Minister said on Sunday, Jul 11 that some decency was expected from the political leaders, while making comments on an issue.
Pranab Mukherjee, however did not mention the name of BJP President Nitin Gadkari who refused to apologize on his comments on the Congress party over Afzal Guru issue.
BJP President, at the party rally in Dehradun on Jul 8, had asked if Afzal Guru, Parliament attack convict was the son-in-law of Congress to extend his capital punishment. He later said that he had not remarked anything wrong and refused to apologise for his remarks.
Congress had later slammed Gadkari saying that he had lost his mind and required a 'psychiatric help'. They had also added that he was not enough mature to be the president of a national party.
