Nifty ends at new 30-month high; tech, realty lead
Mumbai, Jul 12: At 4:00 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17,937.20 up 103.66 points and NSE Nifty was 5383.00 up 30.55 points.
Nifty closed the market at 30-month high witnessing buying interests in the shares of technology, financial, realty, metal and select capital goods. Sensex touched almost 18,000 points during the day's trade but declined 73 points from the day's high point of 18,010.07. Nifty ended the day losing 23 points from Nifty's day high of 5,402.70.
The top gainers on BSE were DLF which was up by 2.38 percent, Tata Motors up 2.32 percent and Wipro, up 2.25 percent where as top losers were Reliance Infra which went down 1.91 percent, Hero Honda down 1.55 percent and Reliance Communication, down 1.37 percent.
The top gainers on NSE were Idea Cellular, which gained 5.10 percent, Unitech up 3.90 percent and Cairn India up 3.55 percent.
The

Airtel
were
most
active
in
the
market.

Sensex consolidates; realty, banks, IT up
At 2:20 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17,932.47 up 98.93 points and NSE Nifty was 5382.30 up 29.85 points.
Realty, banks, IT and capital goods stocks witnessed buying where as Consumer durables and oil & gas shares continued negative. Around 1664 shares advanced, 1297 shares declined and 367 remain unchanged. BSE Midcap and Smallcap index surged.
Cairn India, Idea Cellular, Unitech, HDFC Bank and Tata Motors among the frontliners were up 2 to 2.5 percent. Reliance Infra, BPCL, Hero Honda, ONGC and Reliance Communications plunged 1.3 to 1.7 percent.

Nifty slumps from 5400 pts; finance, tech up
At 12:30 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17,892.25 up 58.71 points and NSE Nifty was 5368.10 up 15.65 points. Around 804 shares advanced and 445 declined on NSE.
The shares of technology, finance, metal, capital goods and realty companies gained. NTPC, Reliance Industries and Tata Motors shares also witnessed buying. Top gainers on BSE include HDFC Bank which gained 1.83 percent, Tata Motors 1.77 percent and BHEL, 1.68 percent. On NSE, Cairn India gained 2.27 percent, Unitech 2.12 percent and Idea Cellular 2.10 percent.
The most active shares were that of Bharti Airtel, Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

Nifty opens in green; Idea, Wipro up
At 9:10 hrs, BSE Sensex was 17,978.02 up 144.48 points and NSE Nifty was 5389.50 up 37.05 points.
The benchmark Nifty started the day in green for the third consecutive day influenced by the good global cues. Nifty was trading at 5385 up 33 points and Sensex was at 17962 up 131 points when the markets opened.
The gainers among the frontliners were Idea Cellular, HCL Tech, Wipro, Sterlite Industries, DLF, Unitech, IDFC, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, BHEL and Hindalco.
