Voting starts in Japan
Tokyo, Jul 11: Voting for the upper house of Japan has started on Sunday, Jul 11.
Japan"s ruling party Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) and its ally need 56 seats to win the power in the chamber.
The DPJ currently holds 116 seats, and its ally, the People"s New Party, six seats. Half of the House of Councillors" 242 seats are up for grabs.
