BBC sacks Bleakley over romance with footie star Lampard

London, July 9 (ANI): BBC One Show babe Christine Bleakley has been sensationally sacked by the company for romancing England football star Frank Lampard.

The presenter was supposed to return to The One Show sofa next week for her last two months at its helm, the Daily Star reports.

But the show's top brass have pulled the plug because they are unhappy with her new lifestyle as girlfriend of Chelsea and England star Frank Lampard, 32.

Her contract was supposed to end in September after she signed a four million pound deal to team up with ex-One Show partner Adrian Chiles, 43, on ITV1's revamped GMTV.

Insiders claim the Beeb were furious over Christine deciding to fly to South Africa for the World Cup and then jetting off on a holiday with Lampard, when key decisions were being made about the show in London. (ANI)
