Mkts end in green on strong global cues
Mumbai, Jul 6: Sensex broke the three-day losing streak and bounced back to end almost 170 points higher on Tuesday, Jul 3. Nifty also rose 50 points before closing. The indices gained support from strong global
BSE Sensex ended the day at 17,614.48, up 173.04 points and NSE Nifty shut shop at 5289.05, up 53.15 points.

Mkts continue northbound on +ve global cues
Riding on positive cues from US and European markets, the markets continued the upward trend. The indices were also gaining support from software, financial, metal, capital goods and oil & gas companies' shares.
At 2:00 pm, BSE Sensex was at 17,596.33, up 154.89 points and NSE Nifty was at 5286.20, up 50.30 points.
While European markets were trading 1 to 1.5 per cent higher and US index futures rose 0.5 to 0.75 per cent, all Asian markets were also trading in the positive zone, helping the Indian indices extend gains in the afternoon session.
Among the top gainers are Sun Pharma up 2.76 per cent; TCS up 2.33 per cent; M&M up 1.99 per cent; HDFC Bank up 1.57 per cent; Jindal Steel up 1.51 per cent and Wipro up 1.39 per cent.

Mkts northbound; Reliance Industries enjoys buying
After struggling with consolidation at 5200 mark, Nifty showed signs of upward journey. Sensex also followed the suit on support from technology, banking, metal, realty and select capital goods companies' shares.
At 11: 40 am, BSE Sensex was at 17,530.06, up 88.62 points and NSE Nifty gained 25.60 points to trade at 5261.50.
Index heavyweight Reliance Industries was also among the gainers as it was on the buyers radar. Among the top gainers were TCS up 1.83 per cent; Jindal Steel up 1.59 per cent; Wipro up 1.36 per cent; Axis Bank up 1.27 per cent; Sun Pharma up 1.22 per cent; Hindalco up 0.92 per cent and Infosys up 0.80 per cent.
However,

side,

Idea

Mkts open quiet; RNRL, PNB lose
Nifty hovered around the closing value at 5200 mark. The benchmarks have opened the day on a quiet note.
At 9:01 am, BSE Sensex was trading at 17467, up 26 points and NSE Nifty was at 5241, up 5.55 points.
Buying interest was seen in Hindalco, M&M, BPCL, Ranbaxy Labs, Cipla, TCS, IDFC, ONGC, Sterlite, Siemens, Reliance Infrastructure and Jindal Steel.
