Attack on Pak paramilitary base
Peshawar, Jul 5: A suicide car bomber attacked the gate of a paramilitary base in northwestern Pakistan, killing one soldier and wounding a dozen other people on Monday, Jul 5.
The attackers opened fire at the troops manning gate of the base and were travelling in two vehicles packed with explosives and tried to destroy the security force headquarters at Timergara.
Acccording to the military officials two civilians and 12 soldier were injured.
However guards killed all the four suicide attackers.
The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack in a telephone call to an news agency.
The Pakistani Taliban has declared war on the government because the group deems it unIslamic and is upset at its alliance with the US.
