Serena says 'Williams sisters' will dominate Wimbledon

By Samyuktha

London, July 3 (ANI): World number one Serena Williams has declared that her family has no plans to give up dominating Wimbledon.

Serena would chase her fourth All England singles crown against Vera Zvonerava today.

"There is no doubt about the Williams' sisters being here at Wimbledon next year. That is a sure thing," the Sun News quoted Serena, as saying.

"It's been a great decade and I feel honoured to be part of it. The next decade? Who knows! Hopefully we will still be around but we have so many other things going on. It's a really cool feeling to see your name going up on the winners' board again and once you have something you always want to keep it," she added.

The Williams sisters faced each other in both the last two finals. But 30-year-old Venus, crashed out to Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova in this year's last eight.

"Honestly, I would almost rather play her because at least I know for certain one of us is going to win something," Serena said. (ANI)
