New Delhi, July 2 (ANI): The month-long Monsoon session of Parliament is likely to begin from July 26 on the recommendation of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, which met here on Friday.
"Subject to approval by the President, the Budget session would commence on July 26 and continue till August 27," said Minister of State for Parliament Affairs Pawan Kumar Bansal.
There are reports that the Nuclear Liability Bill, the Women's Reservation Bill and a legislation on Direct Tax Code are likely to figure in the Monsoon Session.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led opposition is expected to bring forth the issue of price rise and demand a rollback of the fuel prices.
It has been reported that the opposition will also raise the issue of law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the attack on security forces by the Naxalites. (ANI)
