L&T Infotech awarded by US client for its service

Mumbai, Jul 1: L&T Infotech has been awarded the title of 'Distinguished Service Supplier' for the year 2009 by one of its US-based clients.

Freescale Semiconductor, which has been L&T Infotech's client for eight years, awarded the company for demonstrating superior service.

L&T has provided the multibillion dollar semiconductor design & manufacturing company with SAP
Global Support across 487 locations across 30 countries supporting over 10000 users; Application development, enhancements and maintenance services on all platforms and business process among other services during the companies' long association, L&T said in a statement on Thursday, Jul 1.

"This Award underlines L&T Infotech's strengths in being able to provide that special Business-to-IT Connect to all its clients. We are extremely happy and honored to have received this prestigious Award from one of our most esteemed clients. I compliment the team which has brought this honor to the Company," said Mr Sudip Banerjee, Chief Executive Officer, L&T Infotech.
