Nagaland HM detained in Nepal with Rs 9 lakhs cash
Kathmandu, Jun 30: Home Minister of Nagaland, Imkong L Imchen has been reportedly detained in Nepal for carrying Indian currency in tune of nine lakh rupees.
According to the latest inputs, Nepal authorities have detained the minister in Kathmandu airport for carrying the money in cash.
Imchen allegedly had Rs 9 lakh in the currency of Rs 500 and Rs 1000, which are banned in Nepal.
The Nagaland People's Front (NPF) leader was in Nepal on a personal visit. The incident took place when he was returning to India.
