Brazilian student raped by Delhi landlord

New Delhi, Jun 30: A 27-year-old Brazilian student, pursuing Mass Communication course in Noida at private institute has alleged that she was raped twice by her landlord after mixing sedatives in her coffee, police said on Wednesday Jun 30.

She came to India in the first week of Jun 2010 and has been staying in a rented accommodation since Jun 19. This incident came to light on Jun 30 morning after she lodged a complaint in the near by police station.

"On Jun 27, when he tried to rape her, she resisted and asked him to leave the premises. she was very much terrified" a senior police official said.

A case has been registered against the landlord. Further investigations are on. A medical examination is also being conducted on her.
