London, Jun 25 (ANI): England fans will not be waiting till Sunday to know the result of their team's encounter against Germany in the World Cup, but will find out the winner on Saturday itself, courtesy a psychic octopus.
Paul, the octopus, has an uncanny knack of correctly predicting the winning side and picked Germany as the winner against Ghana in their last group game. It also picked Serbia to be victorious over Germany
But this Sunday's World Cup showdown between England and Germany could really test Paul's powers.
Paul lives at Oberhausen Sea Life Centre in Germany, but was born in England, SKY News reports.
Two plastic boxes, one with the St George's cross and one with the German flag will be lowered into Paul's tank. Each has a tasty morsel of food inside.
The box, which Paul opens first will be the predicted winner of the game.
"For the European Championship in 2008 Paul had a success rate of more than 80 percent for the German games. And for this World Cup, he has had a 100 percent success rate so far," said Tanja Munzig, a spokeswoman for Sea Life in Oberhausen. (ANI)
