PC to seek follow-up on 26/11 dossiers from Pak
New Delhi, Jun 25: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, who is set to land in Pakistan for the SAARC Interior Minister's Conference, will also be holding talks with Pakistan interior minister Rehman Malik in Islamabad.
In the first ever ministerial visit from India to Pakistan, after Foreign Secretary level talks were held between Nirupama Rao and her Pak counterpart Salman Bashir on Thursday, Jun 24 is Islamabad, Chidmabaram is expected to mount further pressure on Pakistan over the Mumbai terror attacks probe.
As per reports, Home Minister will be pressing for probe against LeT founder Hafiz Saeed and seek voice samples of handlers of Mumbai attackers besides seeking information on the status of investigation and 26/11 trial being held in Pakistan.
India will also seek follow-up on the 10 dossiers given to Pakistan regarding the 2008 Mumbai carnage.
