Zeta Jones to tee off star-studded Ryder Cup concert on September 29

Cardiff (Wales), June 24(ANI): Hollywood actress Catherine Zeta Jones will tee off a massive star-studded Ryder Cup concert at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on September 29.

The 90-minute show will mark the start of the golfing tournament, which will be held at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport between October 1 and 3.

"I'm delighted to be back in Wales for this very special concert to mark the launch of this landmark event. To welcome the most prestigious and recognized event in the golfing calendar to Wales is a real honour," The Mirror quoted Jones, as saying.

"I don't think Wales has ever seen anything on this scale so it's very exciting to be part of it," he added.

The European and United States teams will be on stage on the night, to be introduced to the audience.

Cardiff-based Last Choir Standing and Classical Brit winners Only Men Aloud will also perform at the gig. (ANI)
