New Delhi, Jun 24: Paternal uncle of Shubha who was killed in the serial honour killings in northwest Delhi's Ashok Vihar, who was detained by the police showed little sign of grief but justified the murder instead.
Dharmaveer Nagar, 45, was waiting to complete the formalities for the handing over of Shubha's body on Wednesday, Jun 23. He said that the killing was necessary for society, though some may consider killing of an individual wrong.
Delhi police has arrested a person for allegedly supplying weapons to the three accused in the serial honour killings. The detained person is a Ghaziabad based criminal. He will be further interrogated to know more about the whereabouts of Ankit and Mandeep, the prime suspects who are absconding in the case.
Delhi police had announced a reward of Rs 50,000 on Wednesday, Jun 23 for those who provide the whereabouts of the accused.
