Lahore, June 18(ANI): The Pakistan Cricket Board has dismissed rumours of the resignation of its Chief Operating Officer COO Wasim Bari.
There were murmurs that all was not well between PCB Chairman Ijaz Butt and Bari, who until recently was the board chairman's most trusted man.
It was also said that suspecting Bari's role in the recent leak of the probe Committee's video recordings, Butt has started sidelining him and nominated Zakir Khan to attend the ICC Chief Executive Committee meeting.
However, PCB official Nadeem Sarwar categorically denied all the rumours and said that confusion was being created about the relations between the two top officials of the PCB.
"Someone is spreading confusion inside the PCB and trying to develop friction when there is no truth in it," The Nation quoted Sarwar, as saying. (ANI)
