New Delhi, Jun 17: In a monstrous incident of domestic abuse, a businessman allegedly forced his wife to have group sex with his family members and business partners for four years.

The victim had no choice but to stay silent about the abuse for fours years as the man had threatened to cause harm to her nephew if she told anyone about it.

However, after the woman finally filed an FIR in her hometown Surat, the police nabbed the accused identified as Kuldeepak Arora, an exporter, from IGI Airport while he was leaving for Nepal.

As per media reports, a hunt has been launched by the Delhi and Surat police for the accused's family members, who are absconding.

Quoting police sources, Times of India reported that woman first met Kuldeepak in 2003 in London after the Aroras published a matrimonial advertisement and they got married in Surat in Apr 2004.

"Everything worked well for the first few years but her in-laws began pressuring her for dowry soon after. The victim claims she found that her husband had been married before and he had not divorced his first wife.

She has also alleged that the ill-treatment meted out to her even led to a miscarriage. On her husband's insistence, she developed physical relations with his business partner, brother and brother-in-law," investigating officer Surendra Gala of the Surat police told the newspaper.

He added that the police had evidence on the sexual 'orgies' the victim was forced into.

A CNN-IBN report said that the man has been slapped with several charges under sections 498A (subjecting a married woman to cruelty), 307 (attempt to murder), 376 (rape), 377 (unnatural offences), 506(2) (criminal intimidation) and 114 (abetment of any offence) and sections 3 and 7 of the Dowry Act.
