Johannesburg, June 15 (ANI): A South African witch doctor or Shaman has predicted World Cup glory for Germany and heartbreak for the South African and American football teams.
Sitting on the floor of his Soweto office, Kenneth Nephaue dispenses remedies and wisdom to those who come looking for it - from regular citizens to soccer players and teams.
Nephaue is a big man who gives a big toothy grin despite missing his two front teeth.
He uses small pieces of elephant tusks, never human bones.
"Bad luck," The Telegraph quotes him, as saying.
Nephaue says he decided to become a healer when his uncle told him that it was his fate.
"Germany can take the World Cup," he says. "Germany can take it easy."
The U.S. should go through to the second round, he predicts, but there are problems on the horizon that could stunt the Americans' progress if coach Bob Bradley doesn't shake things up.
South Africa, however, could have limited success, he says, if the coach doesn't make his substitutions earlier in the game.
Nephaue thinks that Bafana Bafana will reach the second round, but he sees trouble beyond. (ANI)
