Cape Town, June 14(ANI): Royal Protection officers have vetoed Prince Harry's plans to stay at his girlfriend Chelsy Davy's flat during the World Cup due to 'huge security' concerns.
Harry will be in Cape Town to watch England play Algeria on Friday.
"It's an official Royal trip and security procedures are in place for a reason. Harry wanted to stay with Chelsy on Friday night, but he was told that this was not possible," The Mirror quoted a source, as saying.
"Everyone in Cape Town knows where Chelsy lives and everyone knows Harry will be in the city on Friday night. Therefore it poses a huge security risk because it would be obvious where Harry is staying," the source added.
Harry and brother William will arrive in the city on Friday morning, and stay at an undisclosed location.
The pair will be guests of honour for the second group game at the Green Point stadium.
The Princes will fly to Johannesburg on Saturday where they will host a Royal reception for FIFA executive committee members. (ANI)
