Kathmandu, Jun 14 (ANI): The Nepalese Government is all set to install modern communication system at all entry points of Kathmandu to curb the increasing threat of imports of illegal explosives and weapons.

Nepal's Home Minister Bhim Bahadur Rawal said preparations were underway to install the system.

Rawal said discussions are ongoing on how installation tasks could be carried out within the ministry and police administration to control the entry of illegal weapons and explosives in Kathmandu.

The Home Minister made such remarks a few days after the seizure of huge amount of explosives and weapons in the capital, Xinhua reports.

Last week, a bomb exploded outside the Ishan Nursing and Maternity Hospital in the capital.

On June 8, police discovered three socket bombs from the site and arrested a man on June 12. (ANI)
