Bangalore/Tel Aviv, June 8 (ANI-Business Wire India): Tejas Networks Ltd., a leader in next-generation optical networking products, announced today that it has acquired Ethos Networks, a high-technology company from Israel, specializing in Carrier Ethernet and Network management products.
This deal is the first acquisition of an Israeli high-tech company by an Indian company. The Ethos acquisition will augment Tejas' product offerings in the packet optical space and enhance its Future Proof Transport Architecture (FPTATM) solution.
Commenting on the deal, Sanjay Nayak, CEO and MD, Tejas Networks said, "This acquisition completes our portfolio in offering best-in-class, end-to-end multi-service solution for SDH/SONET, Carrier Ethernet and hybrid transmission architectures and a seamless Network Management Software (NMS) suite."

Ethos Networks has been acquired through a cashless transaction. The existing workforce of Ethos will be integrated with the Tejas Networks' global workforce. (ANI)
