Panaji (Goa), June 8 (ANI): Former Goa Minister Mickky Pacheco has moved the court for anticipatory bail in connection with the 'unnatural death' of his close friend Nadia Joelle Torrado.
Pacheco, who resigned as Goa's Tourism Minister on Saturday, after being embroiled in a controversy was questioned by the crime branch officials in connection with Torrado's death.
He went missing after the crime brach officials called him on June 5 for further questioning in the case. Pacheco was not traceable since he handed over his resignation to Chief Minister Digambar Kamat.
Twenty-eight-year-old Torrado died in a Chennai hospital on May 30. She was treated there for consumption of poison. (ANI)
