The move to bridge its users with the social networking site comes in line with the partnership stuck between the two leading web companies in 2009.
Facebook will be linked throughout Yahoo"s website, including its front page as well as the e-mail service page. This means that Yahoo users can have the personal updates or what is called as the 'newsfeed' in Facebook delivered to them either on the Yahoo home page or to their mail.
The new format will also enable the users share their activities on the Yahoo sites on Facebook. For instance a photo uploaded on Yahoo's photo sharing website, Flickr, can be easily shared with friends on Facebook.
The integration is set to be introduced on Monday, Jun 7, just a day after the expansion was announced by Yahoo.
With this step to incorporate the hot sites, such as Facebook, on its website, Yahoo hopes to keep its users logged in on its site and keep them coming back.
