Ronaldo's World Cup dream for Portugal

By Super Admin

Cape Town, June 6(ANI): Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo reckons that winning the World Cup with his national team would be even more incredible than lifting the 2008 Champions League trophy with Manchester United.

"Winning the Champions League with Manchester United was incredible, so I can't even begin to think what winning the World Cup with your country would be like," The Daily Express quoted Ronaldo, as saying.

"It would be an amazing feeling. Everyone feels that a World Cup in South Africa will be special," he added.

The 25-year-old had scored and was man of the match in the Champions League final against Chelsea in Moscow.

Ronaldo was subsequently named the UEFA Fans' Man of the Match, and wrapped up the campaign with a career-high 42 goals in all competitions, falling four short of Denis Law's team-record mark of 46 in the 1963-64 season. (ANI)
