Javier Moro to sue Singhvi, over the book
New Delhi, Jun 6: Spanish writer and the author of the book 'The Red Saree', Javier Moro, said that he would sue the politician Abhishek Manu Singhvi, as he has accessed the version of his book illegally. Moro said that Singhvi, who was harassing him since long, was terrorising the publishers through his statements.
Abhishek Manu Singhvi had remarked that the book is a fictionalised account of the life of Sonia Gandhi.
The book was first published in Spanish with a title 'El Sari Rojo' in 2008. It is set for India release but has stirred a storm with Congress chief's lawyers served the writer with a legal notice and also described it as containing 'untruths, half truths, falsehoods and defamatory statements'.
"I don't know how Abhishek Manu Singhvi or others have got their hands on the version when the book is not even in the market yet," Moro said.
