IPL bid made in personal capacity: Pawar
New Delhi, Jun 6: Union Minister Sharad Pawar reiterated that the IPL bid was made by one of the top official of the company in his personal capacity. He said that it was not on behalf of the firm.

that
the
subsequent
resolution
of
the
board
in
March,
which
was
'binding',
was
relevant.
He
was
responding
about
the
reports
that
the
board
of
the
company,
City
Corporation,
had
authorised
the
bid
on
Jan
31.
He also said that the company had informed in that resolution that Anil Deshpande, the MD of the company could bid in his individual capacity and other shareholders would not be there.
"The concerned authorities were informed while giving the bid, that there could be some other partners along with Despande, if the bid was granted," he said.
