London, June 6 (ANI): Injured German skipper Michael Ballack has said that his team is dreaming of a second round tie with England in the 2010 World Cup.
England can face their old rivals in the last 16 if England finish on top of Group C and Germany are second in Group D.
They can also meet in Bloemfontein if England finishes second in their group and Germany top theirs, the Daily Express reports.
Ballack said: "Avoid them? Do we want to AVOID England in the second round? Why? No, we want to play them. We are Germany.
"Ha! I think we always have high hopes," he said. "It's not like England. Every German team goes to a World Cup with high hopes." (ANI)
