New York, June 4 (ANI): Before Citigroup fired her, Debrahlee Lorenzana was immensely popular among male fans, who were always eager to catch a glimpse of her.

Debrahlee Lorenzana contends Citigroup dumped her because her outfits were too hot for her easily distracted co-workers to handle.

"I would walk the extra few blocks just to go to this one to see her," The New York Daily News quoted publicist Matt Saulk, 36, who favoured the Rockefeller Center branch where Lorenzana worked over one on W. 52nd St.

"I would think Citibank would want employees like her - it brings in the customers."

Harold Mack, a paralegal, says "Whew, she was a hot one.

"I'm sad she's gone, but she did stick out. I know she distracted me whenever I came into the bank."

However, the distractions weren't limited to just the men.

"She would come in wearing expensive designer clothes that showed off her body, when everyone else was wearing normal clothes for a workplace," one female bank teller said. "She knew how she looked, and she used it to her advantage."

Citigroup had fired the banker apparently for "being too hot" and said that Lorenzana's suit is packed with "unfounded accusations and inaccurate statements."

"While we will not discuss the details of her case, we can say that her termination was solely performance-based and not at all related to her appearance or attire," said Natalie Riper, a Citi spokeswoman. "We are confident that when all of the facts and documentation are presented, the claim will be dismissed."

She now works for another financial firm she declined to identify, but her old Citibank customers still miss her. (ANI)
