Islamabad, June 1 (ANI): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentarian Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan lashed out at the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Government on Tuesday for insulting the superior judiciary by lying and giving false statements.
Demanding that the Gilani-led government should reassess its policies and not indulge in personal and political gains, Khan warned of a democratic reaction both inside and outside parliament.
The Dawn quoted him as saying that the government was on a dangerous path and that it should stop accusing the judiciary to hide its own mistakes.
The government and the judiciary have been on a confrontationist course over the appointment of judges as on cases linked to the controversial National Reconciliation Order (NRO) introduced by former President General Pervez Musharraf.
He warned that if this attitude continued, the government will not be able to survive.
He also said that there is a need to identify the Taliban and only after that should an anti-terror policy be formulated. (ANI)
