Bangalore: Addressing the media in the Kanakpura Art of Living ashram Sri Sri Ravishankar told that he has forgiven the attacker and he invited him to the ashram. "Those resorting to terror should come to the ashram and attend satsangs. It will reform them," he said.

If he can spent some time with us in the ashram he will be a changed man. Sri Sri told.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar spoke to his devotees and the media on Monday 31, May 2010, saying he wasn't entirely surprised by the attack because his driver had a vision a few days earlier.

Even though we can't rule out same type of attacks in future the spiritual guru said that he did not want high security. Just because of the reason that will divide him from his devotees.

"I have no enemies and I have never used any kind of abuse in my entire life," the guru told a media gathering in his ashram. The message of Art of Living is of peace and non violence. "We must ensure the safety of the devotees and we must not be afraid of such attackers," he told.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar escaped bid on his life on Sunday 30, May 2010 evening when an unidentified gunman shot at his car as he was returning after delivering a discourse, an ashram official said.
