Mumbai, May, 26: Air India Union Strike is soon going to end following the order issued by Delhi high Court to restrain the strike on the grounds of it being illegal. The Delhi High Court has said in its verdict that the strike is illegal and uncalled for at this hour.

This ruling of High Court in favor of Air India management was result of a petition filed by the management in the court on the grounds of the strike being called without giving any prior notice.

Earlier, Air India moved to Bombay High court to call for an injunction against the strike but court ruled against it saying both the parties should be present in the court for

Air India CMD, Arvind Jadhav told the reporters that court termed this strike illegal and directed the Union to immediately return to work.

Meanwhile, earlier PMO and Civil Aviation Ministry has toughened their stance an even told to sack the striking employees as a disciplinary action against them.

A leader from the Union Vivek Rao said, "We hold the strike against the gag order and show cause notice against speaking to media and now with the order given by chief labor commissioner we will restore the normalcy in the affairs."

After the court order the Union had to call of the strike in order to avoid contempt of court.
