New Delhi, May 26: Air India Staff, who go on strike have decided to hold talks with the management over the gag order issue.
"We have been invited by the management for talks and we are going to attend it. We will also meet the Chief Labour Commissioner and place our demands," said J B Kadian, the general secretary of Air Corporation Employees Union (ACEU).
Air India has cancelled 76 flights including domestic and international services, as a section of the staff containing aviation engineers and cabin crew continued the strike on Wednesday, May 26.
AI management toughened the stand threatening lay offs if they did not call off the stir.
Passengers who could not reach their destinations faced a hard time when the company cancelled the services across the nation. Air India has offered full refund for the passengers whose flights were cancelled and made arrangements for local transport and hotel accommodation.
More than 50 domestic and international flights were cancelled and several others were delayed for two hours on Tuesday, May 25 too.
