CM rushes to Mangalore to take note of situation
BANGALORE, May 22: Karnataka CM B SYeddyurappa rushed to the site of crash on Saturday morning to Mangalore where an aircraft belonging to Air India crashed leading to the death of about 158 passengers including crew members according to a report published in The Hindu.
Before leaving for Mangalore he assured everyone that state government will bear the expenses of treatment of all the survivors in the crash. He informed that Dakshina Kannada district administration will bear the expenses.
Already, Home Minister V. S. Acharya and Dakshina Kannada District in-charge Minister Krishna Palemar are at the accident spot and supervising rescue operations.
