New Delhi, May 19: Indian pugilist, Vijender Singh continues to head the AIBA world rankings with 2137.5 points.
The International Boxing Association list was updated after the 3 Star China Cup, which was a ranking points event.
The Olympic and World Championship bronze medal winning boxer, Singh (75 kg) did not even have to participate in the China Cup to sustain his crown due to the mammoth points gap between him and his rivals.
The second spot was claimed by Olympic silver medallist Emilio Bayeux Correa of Cuba, who is far behind Vijender's 2k plus points with 1875 points.
Two other Indian boxers, who are quickly making it upwards on the world ranking lists include, are former youth champion Nanao (48 kg) with 1400 points and Asian and Commonwealth champion Suranjoy Singh (51 kg), who rose three spots, with 800 points.
However, Commonwealth champion Amandeep Singh came down by 10 spots with 225 points and Olympian Jitender Kumar slipped three ranks to 21st in the bantam weight (54 kg) list.
