The Senior BJP leaders will be meeting in the capital to decide on the name of the new Chief Minister.
Earlier on Thursday, May 13, BJP president Nitin Gadkari told reporters that the party would be finalising the name on Friday, May 14.
"I had only a brief meeting with party observers in Delhi yesterday as I was flying to Chandigarh. Tomorrow evening, when I will return to Delhi, I will be meeting them and other senior leaders," Gadkari said.
While the BJP are yet to decide on the name of the new Chief Minister, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has proposed for a rotational sharing of power.
As per the scheme, BJP would be in power for coming 28 months after which the JMM would head the state for the next 28 months.
