Ramesh offers to quit, Cong rejects
New Delhi, May 13: Congress party has reportedly ruled out the resignation of Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh who had offered to quit over his controversial remarks on China, CNN IBN reported on Thursday, May 13.
According to Congress sources the party dismissed Ramesh's resignation offer stating that there was no reason for him to quit.
Ramesh landed himself in trouble when he criticised India's policy on China during a global meet on climate change on Saturday, May 9, in Beijing.
