'Heckled' Tiger Woods misses cut at Quail Hollow

By Super Admin

New York, May 1(ANI): American golfer Tiger Woods had a harrowing time at the Quail Hollow Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he not only missed the cut, but also had to face heckling from two spectators over his recent series of sex scandals.

It's the sixth time in his career that he failed to make the cut, and the first time in the United States since 2006.

In Woods' first appearance at a regular U.S. PGA Tour event since admitting marital infidelity five months ago, he shot a 79, his worst score on American soil as a pro.

According to reports, Woods was on the way to missing a 5-foot par putt on the 10th hole when two spectators decided to get under his skin.

"Get in the hole," The New York Post quoted one of the hecklers, as saying.

"That's what she said," the other man added.

Efforts to find the hecklers by Charlotte police and security were unsuccessful as they apparently left the scene.

The incident came days after tournament officials warned that fans would be ejected for bad behavior.

"We're not going to be scared to take somebody off the property," said Kym Hougham, tournament director. (ANI)
